Wedding Planner Oaxaca Destination Weddings

After moving to Oaxaca and planning their own multi-cultural destination weddings, Friederike (from Germany) and Holly (from the United States) co-founded Oaxaca Destination Weddings (ODW). Since 2016 our team has grown to include several bi-lingual (English/Spanish) professionals who understand the dynamics of cross-cultural weddings and appreciate the unique dimensions of destination weddings. Our passion is helping people create beautiful, unique, and fun destination wedding experiences!
Friederike, the current leader of ODW, has worked in the hospitality industry since 2006, gaining professional experience at the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in various cities, as well as in hotels in Mexico.  She is fluent in English, Spanish, and German and has lived in India, Egypt, Dubai, Austria, England, Chile, United States, and of course, Germany and Mexico.
We are actively involved in the wedding industry and are certified by the Equality Institute for LGBTQ+ weddings, Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC), and are members of the International Wedding and Event Industry Association.
